Went to Seattle Washington to see Metallica for two shows. Luckily, the shows were two days apart so I had to opportunity to see the Museum of Flight at King County Airport. It isn’t an overly large Museum but it does have some very cool aircraft, both within and outside its walls. Some of the highlights include the Concorde, a B-29 Super Fortress, a Rocketdyne F-1 Engine and parts of one that were actually used on an Apollo mission and my favorite, the sole surviving example of the Mach 3 M-21 Blackbird and it’s Drone.
